"I am absolutely ecstatic!" said Chaney, who plans to use his prize to pay off some debt and buy a new car.  He said that he has won a few dollars here and there playing Powerball but never anything this big.  Chaney's ticket matched four numbers drawn plus the Powerball number to win his prize.  "Take a chance.  For the odds to be in your favor, you have to take a chance,"  he said.
Chaney purchased his winning ticket at Circle K #4207 on O'Neal Lane in Baton Rouge.
