"The moment I realized [I won,] I was ecstatic!" Evans Neal recalled. "I ran and told my wife and said 'Thank you Jesus!'" The Ferriday resident won $7,500 during the Jan. 8 Pick 4 drawing! The winner explained that he prefers the winning odds of playing Pick 4 and enjoys the anticipation of waiting for the drawing results to come out. Evans' winning ticket was purchased at 84 Quick Stop where he frequents because of the nice employees. He plans to put his new $7,500 towards a down payment on a house.
