Long-time Mega Millions player Elroy Doucet thought he won $500 during the Oct. 20 drawing, but received the surprise of a lifetime when his wife noticed that their winning ticket also matched the Mega Ball. "My wife said 'sit down... We just won $10,000!'" Elroy purchased their big winning ticket at Nu Nu's Fresh Market in Youngsville. The Doucets plan to send their winnings straight to savings.
