Sylve played her numbers on one ticket as a "straight" set, meaning her numbers had to match the numbers drawn in exact order to win $5,000 on a $1 play.  She played her numbers on the other ticket as a "straight/box" set, meaning her numbers could match the numbers drawn in any order or exact order to win $2,900 on a $1 play for a total of $7,900.

"It feels good because it's been two years since I won playing Pick 4!" she explained.  Sylve also said she used a relative's age when choosing her numbers.

She purchased her winning tickets at Fast Lane #16 on South Morrison Boulevard in Hammond.
