Ferdinand purchased his winning ticket at Taylor's Express on Highway 3125 in Gramercy.

He played his numbers as a "straight/box" set, which meant that they could match the numbers drawn in any order to win a prize or exact order to win $2,700 on a $1 play. 

"I'm going to buy my wife some appliances she's been wanting," he said.
