Sandra purchased her winning ticket at Brothers Food Mart #113 on Veterans Boulevard in Kenner. 

"It's exciting!  I'm going to buy something for my sons," she said.

She played her numbers as a "straight" set, which meant that they had to match the numbers drawn in exact order to win $5,000 on a $1 play.
