Robert Sakelson experienced "pure excitement" when he claimed a $10,000 Mega Millions prize from the April 20 drawing at the Louisiana Lottery's Shreveport office.

Sakelson's ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers drawn and the yellow Mega Ball number to win $10,000. The 43-year-old Noble resident received $7,000 after federal and state taxes were withheld. He said he plans to put his winnings into savings.

The winning numbers for the April 20 drawing were 14-23-26-33-35 and the Mega Ball number was 40. Sakelson purchased his winning ticket from Toledo Town and Tackle on Texas Highway in Many.

After joining the multistate game in November 2011, the Louisiana Lottery has seen several Mega Millions winners, including two $250,000 match-5 winners from the record-breaking March 30 drawing and seven $1 million match-5 Mega Millions with Megaplier prizes for the month of April alone.
