LOUISIANA LOTTERY REPORTS MARCH WINNINGS

BATON ROUGE – Louisiana scratch-off players took home over $20 million in cash prizes in March, including a $500,000 winning 100X the Cash scratch-off sold in Jackson. The Louisiana Lottery also reported over $6 million in winnings from March drawings. Finally, Fast Play players also took home nearly $1 million that month. 

The Lottery’s daily game winnings held strong in March. 

Draw-Style Game Prizes 

• Pick 3: $2,817,800 

• Pick 4: $1,833,000 

• Pick 5: $348,650 

Powerball wins in March reached a total of $700,065, after a $100,000 winning match-4 + PB with Power Play ticket and a $50,000 winning match-4 + PB ticket were sold. Players purchasing the Power Play option won $480,579 of the total sum. The $1 Power Play option gives Powerball players the chance to increase any non-jackpot prize.  

March Mega Millions drawings produced $460,887 in winnings. 

Lotto’s monthly total winnings were $280,859, with 49 match-5 prizes won, equaling $49,000.  

Easy 5 total winnings came in at $224,350, with $86,331 of that total being won on ezmatch™, an instant-win option available for an additional $1. 

In total, draw-style game winnings from drawings held in March totaled $6,665,611. Players have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim the winnings from those tickets.  

The Lottery encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing and check them promptly after each drawing. Even if a ticket does not win the jackpot, it could have won another prize.  

Scratch-Off and Fast Play Prizes 
In addition to the $20,057,831 in scratch-off cash prizes paid during March, players also claimed $1,870,067 in free-ticket prizes.  

Players of the Lottery’s instant-win terminal Fast Play games saw $992,573 in winnings in March.
