Louisiana Lottery named one of the best places to work in Baton Rouge area

The Louisiana Lottery was recently named as one of the top 50 companies to work for by the Baton Rouge Business Report in their “2017 Best Places to Work in Baton Rouge” rankings. The top-ranked companies on this year’s list were unveiled on Oct. 11 during an awards breakfast held at the Crowne Plaza in Baton Rouge. 

“It is an incredible honor for the Lottery to be recognized as one of the best places to work in Baton Rouge,” said Lottery President Rose Hudson. “I am thankful to be part of an organization where our employees display such invested ownership and I appreciate their dedication to our public mission for Louisiana.”

This survey and awards program was created in 2014 to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Baton Rouge, benefiting its economy, its workforce and businesses. 

Companies vying for the distinction are divided into two categories, one for small and medium-sized firms with between 15 and 249 employees, and another for large companies with 250 or more employees. The Lottery ranked 31st in the small to medium-sized companies category.
