Meredith's ticket matched five of the six Lotto numbers drawn that night to win his prize.

"This time I thought that I had only matched four of the numbers drawn, which would be about $50," said Meredith.  "I was in shock when they told me I had matched five numbers. I had to look at the computer screen to believe it!"

He purchased her winning ticket at EZ-Mart No. 197 on Desaird Road in Monroe.
