John Primeaux Sr. of Abbeville plans to "Go eat some Cajun food!" after cashing in his check for $1,149! Primeaux said he was really happy and immediately told his wife Velma – who's birthday was coincidentally the next day – when he realized that he won playing Lotto on Saturday, July 8. The 80-year-old purchased his ticket at Kaplan Quick Stop on East Veterans Memorial Drive in Kaplan.
