A family member of Monroe resident Bryan Cureington scratched his $10 ticket Make My Year for him, then threw it in the trash, thinking it wasn’t a winner. Fortunately, Cureington pulled the ticket out of the garbage to double check it. The ticket, purchased at local store Muse Food Mart, won the first of the game’s four top prizes to be claimed!
