Erma purchased her winning ticket at Spur Discount Store on General DeGaulle Drive in New Orleans. 

"It feels great!" she said.  "I like playing, but I love winning!"

She played her numbers as a "straight/box" set, which meant that they could match the numbers drawn in any order to win a prize or exact order to win $2,700.
