Players Win Over $16.2 Million in March

 Louisiana Lottery players won over $16.2 million in prizes in March, highlighted by one player who won a $1,400,000 Lotto jackpot and one player who won $200,000 playing Powerball.

There were nearly $8.7 million in Louisiana Powerball, Lotto, Cash Quest, Pick 4 and Pick 3 winnings and over $7.5 million in scratch-off game winnings last month. 

March winners also included 17 Powerball tickets for $10,000 each; 195 Lotto tickets averaging $1,946 each; one Cash Quest jackpot ticket for $50,000 and three Cash Quest tickets for $3,000 each.  Pick 3 winners won a total of $2,142,000 and Pick 4 winners won a total of $1,990,200.

Last month over 31,000 Power Play purchasers won a bonus total of $445,857 in addition to their regular Powerball prize total of $138,754.

The Power Play option offers Powerball ticket purchasers the chance to multiply their winnings up to five times on all nonjackpot related prizes for an additional $1.
