Louisiana Lottery’s New Orleans Pelicans Pick Promotion – Facebook

Contest Description:
Louisiana residents who are at least 21 years of age are invited to predict the number of points the New Orleans Pelicans will score during the Feb. 25 game against San Antonio for a chance to win a Pelicans Pick VIP Experience Prize Package including four (4) Club Level A Tickets to the Friday, March 28 game against Golden State at 7 p.m., a $200 concession credit for the game, one (1) $200 gift card to the Pelicans Team Store, one (1) autographed team ball, pregame access to watch the players warm up and the opportunity to participate in the on-court ball presentation.
An additional five (5) winners will then be randomly selected from the same field of entries with predictions closest to the score without going over to receive one (1) $50 gift card for the Pelicans Team Store.
Entries may only be submitted by commenting on the Lottery’s designated Facebook post with your Pelicans score. One winner will be randomly selected from the field of entries correctly predicting the number of points the New Orleans Pelicans score during the Feb. 25 game against San Antonio. An additional five winners will then be selected from the same field.
How to Enter:
Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 18, eligible participants can submit their prediction of the number of points the Pelicans will score during their Feb. 25 game against San Antonio for a chance to win. Entries must be submitted electronically as a comment on the designated promotional post on the Lottery’s Facebook Page before the game’s 7 p.m. tip-off on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025. Any entry post made after 7 p.m. according to the Lottery’s Facebook page records will be disqualified.
No entries will be accepted in person, by mail or through any other method. Only one entry per person is allowed. No purchase is necessary to submit an entry for the promotion.
Prizes:
One (1) winner will receive a Pelicans Pick VIP Experience Prize Package including four (4) Club Level A Tickets to the Friday, March 28 game against Golden State at 7 p.m., a $200 concession credit for the game, one (1) $200 gift card to the Pelicans Team Store, one (1) autographed team ball, pregame access to watch the players warm up and the opportunity to participate in the on-court ball presentation.

The prizes have no cash value and are nontransferable. In the event the winner cannot attend or participate in the experience, the Lottery may assign the prize to an alternate. In the unlikely event the Lottery is unable to fulfill a stated prize due to circumstances beyond its control, a prize(s) of equal or greater value will be substituted at the Lottery’s sole discretion.
Tickets are subject to terms and conditions specified thereon. The winner and guests must comply with such terms and conditions as well as all game and venue rules and regulations and, in accordance therewith, agree not to act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with any intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person at any game. Winners and/or guests may be escorted out of venue by designated agent(s) for improper conduct and/or violation of federal, state, or local laws (including, but not limited to, the unlawful possession, use, or distribution of illicit drugs, unlawful drug paraphernalia, and alcohol), as venue management determines in its sole discretion, and winners will forfeit the balance of their prize. Unused tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged, or applied towards tickets for any subsequent games.
Winner Selection:
One (1) entry will be randomly selected by Lottery personnel from the field of qualifying entries stating the correct number of points the Pelicans score during the Feb. 18 game against San Antonio. In the event that there are no correct answers submitted, a winner will be drawn from those entries containing the next closest score without going over.
An additional five (5) winners will then be randomly selected from the same field of entries with predictions closest to the score without going over to receive one (1) $50 gift card for the Pelicans Team Store.
Winner Notification:
The apparent winners will be notified via a post on the Lottery’s Facebook page and direct message by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Winners have until the next business day to verify their eligibility status, or their prize will be forfeited; the Lottery may, at its discretion, assign an alternate winner in those cases. Once confirmed, winners will be announced on the Lottery’s Facebook page.
Eligibility:
The Louisiana Lottery’s New Orleans Pelicans Pick Promotion is open to Louisiana residents at least 21 years of age. Residency and age will be verified prior to announcing winners. The following individuals are excluded from participating in Louisiana Lottery promotions:
- Any member of the Board of Directors, officer or employee of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
- Any spouse, child, brother, sister or parent residing in the same household of any Louisiana Lottery employee, officer or member of the Board of Directors.
- Any employee of any company or vendor awarded a contract or subcontract to conduct business with, assigned to perform services for or provide goods to the Louisiana Lottery for any duration in the 2025 calendar year. This includes but is not limited to advertising agencies, gaming system vendors, printers, auditors, promotional product suppliers, etc.
- Any spouse, child, brother, sister or parent residing in the same household of any company or vendor awarded a contract or subcontract to conduct business with, assigned to perform services for or provide goods to the Louisiana Lottery for any duration in the 2025 calendar year.
Any person who falls into one of the categories listed above or who does not meet the age and residency requirements will be deemed ineligible to participate.
Acknowledgments:
All contest entrants agree to comply with these rules and accept the Lottery’s interpretation of them in executing the contest. The winner and their guests will be expected to comply with the language on the ticket backs, as well as venue and host policies and procedures.
In addition, entrants agree to participate in the Lottery’s publicity efforts in conjunction with this contest, including but not limited to photo publication, press releases, interviews and media coverage.
Entrants also acknowledge that in matters of administering the contest, the decisions of the Louisiana Lottery Corporation are binding and final.
