Millionaire Bonus Raffle Top Prize Claimed
The winning ticket was purchased at Murphy USA on West Pinhook Road in Lafayette. The retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus, or 1 percent of the prize, for selling the winning ticket.
Millionaire Bonus Raffle offered players the best odds to win $1 million and gave players more chances to win the earlier they purchased their tickets. One winning raffle number worth $1 million and 20 winning raffle numbers worth $20,000 each were drawn on May 12; plus there were five preliminary bonus drawings for $20,000 held in March and April. In all, 26 raffle numbers won $1.5 million in cash prizes.
As with all Lottery draw-style games, Millionaire Bonus Raffle prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing. Original tickets are needed to claim any prize.
