BATON ROUGE – The Louisiana Lottery Corporation is celebrating 35 Years of Reasons to Smile with a year-long anniversary celebration, highlighted by a new lineup of 35th Anniversary scratch-off tickets, two anniversary Fast Play games, a second-chance promotion, and in-store events at participating retailers statewide.
The Lottery launched operations in 1991 and has since generated more than $14.2 billion in total revenue, transferring more than $5 billion to the state treasury in support of Louisiana’s Minimum Foundation Program (MFP), which funds K–12 public education. The 35th anniversary celebration reflects both that legacy and the Lottery’s continued commitment to its players and the state.
“Thirty-five years is a milestone worth celebrating, and we wanted to do it in a way that truly honors Louisiana—its culture, its flavors, its spirit, and the players who have been with us from the very beginning,” said Lottery President Rose Hudson. “From throwback games to brand-new scratch-offs designed right here in-house, everything about this celebration is a love letter to Louisiana.”
New 35th Anniversary Scratch-Off Tickets
At the heart of the celebration is a suite of five new anniversary-themed scratch-off tickets, several of which were designed by the Lottery’s in-house team:
All five tickets are available now at more than 2,900 retail locations across Louisiana.
Additionally, two 35th anniversary edition Fast Play games, $1 Louisiana Treasures and $10 It’s A Louisiana Thing!, are set to launch April 26.
35th Anniversary Second-Chance Promotion
Players who hold non-winning 35th Anniversary scratch-off tickets are encouraged to save them for the 35th Anniversary Second-Chance Promotion, which opens April 27, 2026. Beginning that date, players may enter with a minimum of $10 worth of eligible 35th Anniversary-branded scratch-off tickets, including Louisiana Treasures (game #1665), Say It Louisiana (game #1666), Taste of LA (game #1667), Play Oh! (game #1668), and It’s a Louisiana Thing! (game #1669). Two special 35th anniversary Fast Play games, launching April 26, 2026, will also be eligible. Additional details on the promotion will be announced in the coming weeks.
In-Store Celebrations
The Lottery will also bring the anniversary to life where players shop, with in-store promotions at participating retail locations. Details on participating stores can be found at News and Promotions | Louisiana Lottery Corporation.
