Lottery Reminds Players of Final New Orleans Saints Second-Chance Drawing Deadline
Published on
Have you sent in all your nonwinning $5 New Orleans Saints scratch-offs for the Louisiana Lottery's second-chance drawing? Your nonwinning tickets could be worth 2010 Saints season tickets!
Although the Lottery closed its $5 New Orleans Saints scratch-off game on Dec. 14, 2009, players can still enter nonwinning tickets into the final second-chance drawing until April 13, 2010. During the final drawing, one winner will be selected to win four Plaza Sideline 2010 season tickets, a 2010 parking pass, four 2010 pre-game field passes, a tour of the Saints practice facility and lunch with the Saints head coach in the team cafeteria for up to four people, an autographed Saints football and an autographed Saints helmet.
To enter the final second-chance drawing, players should complete the information on the back of nonwinning $5 New Orleans Saints scratch-off tickets and mail each ticket in an envelope no larger than 4.5" by 9.5" to the drawing address printed on the back of the ticket. The entry must arrive at the second-chance drawing address by the April 13 deadline to be entered into the fourth and final drawing. Players can enter as many times as they wish, but each entry should be mailed in a separate envelope.
The Louisiana Lottery is solely responsible for administering the game and second-chance drawings. Complete rules can be found on the Lottery's Web site.
The Lottery also wants to remind players that all prizes from $5 New Orleans Saints scratch-offs must be claimed at a licensed Lottery retailer or a Lottery office by the same April 13 deadline.
Lottery ticket purchasers and second-chance drawing entrants must be at least 21 years of age. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, help is available by calling 1-877-770-7867. For security purposes, the Lottery encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
