Lafayette Woman Takes Home Lotto Jackpot Prize

Super 1 Foods #641 Team: Produce Manager Chad Pinter, Store Trainer Jade Woods, Office Manager Ashley Arabie, Pricing Specialist Trainer Ramona Venable, Store Director Mike Vallee, and Lottery Lafayette Regional Manager Amanda Capdeboscq hold the store’s winner awareness banner to commemorate the Lotto sale.

BATON ROUGE – After nearly eight months of rolling, the Lotto jackpot was hit by Susan Savoie of Lafayette who purchased the winning ticket from Super 1 Foods #641 located at 2240 Ambassador Caffery Parkway in Lafayette.

The jackpot-winning ticket from the September 2 drawing was worth $3,773,180, the highest the Lotto jackpot has been since November 2025. Mrs. Savoie took home $2,754,421.40 after state and federal tax withholdings.

Super 1 Foods #641 received a $37,731.80 bonus, or one percent of the prize, for selling the winning ticket.

“Louisiana Lottery retailers are always excited when they sell THE big winning ticket,” said Lottery Sales Representative Amanda Capdeboscq, pictured with the Super 1 team. “The Super 1 team put up a banner and lots of flyers near the registers so their regulars would know they are a lucky spot.”

The winning numbers for the September 2 drawing were 20-21-23-25-32-38.

“The Louisiana Lottery team loves to see Louisiana residents win big,” said Lottery President Rose Hudson. “We are excited for Mrs. Savoie on hitting the Lotto jackpot after almost eight months of rolling.”

The Louisiana Lottery encourages all players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing to protect their claim. Winning tickets for draw-style games must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing date.

To play Lotto, participants must be at least 21 years of age. Individuals experiencing gambling-related problems, or those concerned about a friend or family member, are urged to call the Louisiana Problem Gamblers Helpline at 1-877-770-7867. Assistance is confidential and available 24/7.
