Claudina Theall of Kaplan had a reason to smile after she claimed a $30,000 top prize from a Jukebox Bingo scratch-off at the Lottery's Lafayette office.

Theall, age 44, shared that she and her daughter had planned to attend a bingo game, but at the last minute decided to purchase a Jukebox Bingo ticket instead. She let her daughter scratch her ticket and the pair was shocked when they realized the ticket was worth $30,000.

Theall purchased her top-prize winning ticket at Northside Exxon on E. 11th Street in Kaplan.  She said she plans to use her winnings to add a bedroom to her home and fix her car.

Jukebox Bingo is a $3 scratch-off that offers the chance to win up to $30,000 on each ticket. There are four remaining top prizes as of June 5.
