Benton Resident Claims $10,000 Prize from Sept. 26 Powerball Drawing
Steven M. Perot of Benton claimed $10,000 at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Shreveport office from the Sept. 26 Powerball drawing.
"I can't believe it! This is so exciting," said Perot, age 50. He said he plans to invest his winnings.
Perot's Powerball ticket matched four of the five white ball numbers plus the red Powerball number to win $10,000. He purchased his winning ticket at Dixie Mart #7 on Highway 3 in Benton.
The winning numbers for the Sept. 26 drawing were 25-27-31-44-54 and the Powerball number was 8.
Persons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
