Ponchatoula Woman Wins $740,380 Lotto Jackpot

Patsy McKnight of Ponchatoula, the sole winner of the $740,380 Lotto jackpot from the Sept. 8 drawing, claimed her prize at Louisiana Lottery Headquarters Monday.
McKnight purchased her winning ticket from Riverstop on Highway 22 in Springfield. Riverstop will receive a one-time bonus of $7,403, which is one percent of the prize, for the sale. The winning numbers for the Sept. 8 drawing were 04-13-24-25-28-36.
McKnight, age 66, received $518,266 after federal and state taxes were withheld.
Lottery ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. Draw-style game tickets must be claimed within 180 days of the drawing.
