The Louisiana Lottery Corporation announced the new home for the Lottery's drawing show in the Acadiana area will be Cox4 (cable channel 4) beginning Monday, January 4, 2010. Cox4 reaches customers in all or part of Acadia, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Martin, St. Mary and Vermilion parishes.

Winning numbers for all Louisiana Lottery drawings will be broadcast nightly on Cox4 at 9:59 p.m., including the live Powerball drawing every Wednesday and Saturday.

"I am excited to expand our partnership with the Lottery to the Acadiana viewing area and look forward to providing this valuable service to Lottery customers," said Jason Furrate, director of local programming and production for Cox4. "As a trusted source for local programming, we value collaborations like this that benefit our customers."

The Lottery also reminds players in the Lake Charles area that winning numbers can be viewed nightly on KVHP, channel 29.

Lottery ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age.  For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.  Anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem can call toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
