Derek McKey of Zachary was met with skepticism when he told his father he won a $100,000 top prize from a Slots of Money scratch-off.

"He didn't believe me. I didn't believe it either," said McKey, age 21. "I scratched it in my truck and stuck it in my pocket. I think I was in shock."

McKey, who bought his ticket from Plaquemine Truck Stop in Plaquemine, said he plans to save his winnings to purchase a house.

Slots of Money is a $5 scratch-off game that offers players the chance to win up to 15 times on each ticket. With more than $2.7 million in total cash prizes, Slots of Money has two remaining top prizes as of Sept. 20.
