Tioga Resident Claims $3,000 Top Prize from Scratch-off Game

Lucky is exactly how James McCartney of Tioga described himself after claiming a $3,000 Match 3 Tripler top prize at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Alexandria office.
"I had never seen the game before, and I wanted to try my luck," explained McCartney, age 41.
McCartney purchased his winning ticket at Speedy Way on Shreveport Highway in Pineville. He said he plans to use his winnings to pay bills.
Match 3 Tripler is a $1 scratch-off ticket that features eight remaining top prizes as of May 27.
