Louisiana Couple Claims $325,000 Lotto Jackpot
"We've always played Lottery games, but about four weeks ago we decided to start playing Lotto," said Farmer.
The couple purchased their winning ticket at Grumpy's Convenience Store on Robert Boulevard in Slidell. The store will receive a one-time bonus of $3,250 or one percent of the jackpot prize for selling Griswold and Farmer their winning ticket.
They received $227,500 after state and federal taxes were withheld. Griswold said they are not sure what they will do with their winnings; however, she said they will continue playing the Lottery. "You can't win if you don't play," she explained.
The winning numbers for the July 21 Lotto drawing were 13-14-26-30-34-38.
Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age.
