Players Win Over $13.3 Million in November

Louisiana Lottery players won over $13.3 million in prizes in November, highlighted by two Powerball tickets worth $200,000 each.

President Rose Hudson said there were over $5.8 million in Louisiana Powerball, Lotto, Cash Quest, Pick 4 and Pick 3 winnings and over $7.5 million in scratch-off game winnings last month.

November winners also included 16 Powerball tickets worth $10,000 each; 192 Lotto tickets averaging $1,961 each; four Cash Quest jackpot tickets worth $50,000 each and four Cash Quest tickets worth $3,000 each.  Pick 3 winners won a total of $1,776,760 and Pick 4 winners won a total of $922,600.
 
"Last month over 23,000 Power Play purchasers won a bonus total of $300,549 in addition to their regular Powerball prize total of $138,917," Hudson said.  "The Power Play option offers Powerball ticket purchasers the chance to multiply their winnings up to five times on all nonjackpot-related prizes for an additional $1 per play."
