Larry Jones of Sandersville, Miss., has a reason to smile after claiming a $40,000 Powerball prize from the Louisiana Lottery.

Jones, age 63, shared that he plans to add his winnings to his savings account and treat some of his friends to lunch.

Jones' ticket matched four of the five white-ball numbers drawn and the red Powerball number drawn to win $10,000. Because he added the Power Play option to his ticket for an additional $1, his prize was multiplied by four when the Power Play number "4" was selected during the June 15 drawing, bringing his total winnings to $40,000.

The winning numbers for the June 15 Powerball drawing were 19-20-38-41-43 and the Powerball number was 29.

Jones purchased his winning ticket from Kim's Sunflower on Highway 21 North in Angie.

Ticket purchasers must be at least 21 years of age. The Lottery encourages anyone who may have a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll free 1-877-770-7867 for help.
