Dianne Jefferson of Washington, La., has always been a Saints fan but never had the opportunity to watch them play in the Superdome. That is until she heads to the Dome Sept. 26 to watch the Saints play Atlanta as the 2010 Saints Prize Package winner from the first Saints second-chance drawing.

When she saw the new Lottery ticket featuring her favorite team - $5 World Champions New Orleans Saints, she thought it might be fun to play. After realizing her ticket wasn't a winner, she entered the second-chance drawing. Jefferson couldn't believe it when she got the call declaring her the winner of the first drawing.

"I am just falling out. I am so excited!" exclaimed Jefferson. "I just sent in the one ticket. This is wonderful!"

In addition to the four Club Sideline tickets, Jefferson will receive access to the Saints VIP Clubroom, a parking pass, four pre-game field passes, one night Hotel accommodation (two rooms), a $200 dinner allotment and $500 spending cash.

Nine finalists were also selected during the first second-chance drawing. Kristen Holland of Youngsville, Diane Williams of Sulphur and Kristine Istre of Morse each won an autographed helmet. Jeanette Cooper of Zachary, Starr Robinson of Slidell and Elvin Diggs of Donaldsonville each won an autographed football. Rickey Marks of New Iberia, Michele Wright of Carencro and R.J. Guillotte of Galliano each won an autographed jersey.

The Lottery also reminds players the deadline for its second World Champions New Orleans Saints second-chance drawing is Monday, Sept. 27.

During the next second-chance drawing, nine finalists will either win an official Saints autographed helmet, football or jersey. One winner will be selected to win a 2010 Saints Prize Package that includes four Club Sideline tickets to the Saints vs. Cleveland game on Oct. 24 in the Superdome, access to a Saints VIP Clubroom at that game, a parking pass, four pre-game field passes, one-night accommodations at a downtown New Orleans hotel (two rooms), a $200 dinner allotment at a designated downtown New Orleans restaurant for four people and $500 spending cash.

To enter the second-chance drawings, players should complete the information on the back of nonwinning $5 World Champions New Orleans Saints scratch-off tickets and mail one ticket per envelope no larger than 4.5" by 9.5" to the drawing address printed on the back of the ticket. The entry must arrive at the second-chance drawing address by the Sept. 27 deadline to be entered into the second drawing; otherwise, it will be entered into the third drawing. Players can enter as many times as they wish, but each entry should be mailed in a separate envelope.

The Louisiana Lottery is solely responsible for administering the game and second-chance drawings.

Lottery ticket purchasers and second-chance drawing entrants must be at least 21 years of age. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, help is available by calling 1-877-770-7867.
