Shreveport Woman Claims Pot of Gold Top Prize

Melissa Hall of Shreveport was ecstatic when the Pot of Gold scratch-off her husband purchased for her turned out to be a $17,000 top-prize winner. 

The 44-year-old shared that while she has no big plans for her winnings, she does intend to treat herself to a new camera.

Hall's top-prize winning ticket was purchased at Kangaroo Express #3770 on Barksdale Boulevard in Bossier City. 

Pot of Gold is a $2 scratch-off game that offers the chance to win up to 10 times on each ticket. There is one remaining top prize available as of April 25.
