As of 9:16 a.m. Wednesday, April 14, the Louisiana Lottery's $1,000,000 RAFFLE game is sold out.  All 300,000 tickets that went on sale in February sold out just one day before the April 15 drawing.

"We launched a similar game two years ago with the best odds to win $1 million. Players enjoyed the game so much they came back for another chance to win this year," said Lottery President Rose Hudson.

On April 15 at approximately 9 a.m. at the Lottery's headquarters in Baton Rouge, 506 winning numbers will be drawn.  There will be one $1 million winning raffle number, five numbers worth $50,000 and another 500 numbers worth $500.  In all, $1.5 million will be given away in cash prizes.

Odds of winning the $1 million prize are 1 in 300,000.  Odds of winning any $1,000,000 RAFFLE prize are 1 in 593.

$1,000,000 RAFFLE drawing results will be available on the Lottery's Web site shortly after the April 15 drawing.  A winning raffle results flyer will also be distributed at all Lottery regional offices and mailed to Lottery retailers.

Winning numbers will not be available via phone, due to the large volume of winning numbers being drawn.

Players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets for security purposes and keep them in a safe place until the drawing.  Original tickets are needed to claim any prize.  All prizes must be claimed by Oct. 12, 2010.

Players must be at least 21 years old to purchase Lottery tickets.  The Lottery encourages players to play responsibly.  Anyone with a gambling problem is urged to get help by calling toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
