New Orleans Woman Claims $400,000 Lotto Prize

Cynthia Badinger of New Orleans was the sole winner of the $400,000 Lotto jackpot from the Nov. 25 drawing.
   
Badinger purchased her winning ticket from Sidney's Newsstand Inc. in New Orleans.  The retailer will receive a one-time selling bonus of $4,000, or one percent of the jackpot prize, for selling Badinger her winning ticket.
 
Badinger, age 50, received $280,000 after state and federal taxes were withheld.
 
The winning numbers for the Nov. 25 Lotto drawing were 03-10-11-13-27-29.

For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
