Shreveport Resident Claims Last $200,000 Top Prize from Mega Money Scratch-off

Bernnade Jordan of Shreveport claimed the last $200,000 top prize from a Mega Money scratch-off at the Louisiana Lottery's Shreveport office. She said she plans to use her winnings to purchase a house.
Jordan purchased her winning scratch-off from Kangaroo Express #3776 on Hearne Avenue in Shreveport.
According to Louisiana Lottery policy, a scratch-off game is closed and removed from sale when all top prizes for the game have been claimed. All top prizes from Mega Money have been claimed, and the game closed Nov. 19. The last day to redeem prizes from the game is March 18, 2009.
Players must be at least 21 years old to purchase a Lottery ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
For security purposes, players are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
