Greenwood Resident Claims $200,407 in Powerball Prizes

Michael A. Tanous of Greenwood claimed $200,407 at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Shreveport office from the June 27 Powerball drawing.
"Hooray!" said Tanous, age 78. Tanous claimed two winning tickets. On the first ticket, he matched all five white balls drawn to win $200,000. His second winning ticket had four sets of numbers that matched four of the five white balls drawn to win $100 each and another set of numbers that matched three of the five white balls draw to win $7, for a total of $407. Tanous plans to buy a car with his winnings.
Tanous purchased his winning tickets at Kelly's Truck Terminal on Greenwood Road in Greenwood.
