Metairie Resident Claims $30,000 Top Prize on Scratch-Off Ticket

Jean P. Bono of Metairie claimed a $30,000 top prize at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's New Orleans office from a Block Bingo scratch-off ticket.
"I really like to play all of the $3 games," explained Bono, age 48. She plans to use her winnings toward building a house.
Bono purchased her winning ticket at Circle K #0467 on Veterans Boulevard in Metairie. "Winning is such a great feeling!" she said.
Block Bingo offers three remaining top prizes as of Nov. 12.
Lottery players must be at least 21 to purchase a ticket. The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
