Players Win Over $13.5 Million in June

Louisiana Lottery players won over $13.5 million in prizes in June, highlighted by one Lotto jackpot worth $725,000 and another worth $250,000.

President Rose Hudson said there were over $6.9 million in Louisiana Powerball, Lotto, Cash Quest, Pick 4 and Pick 3 winnings and over $6.6 million in scratch-off game winnings last month.

June winners also included two Powerball tickets worth $200,000 each and 11 Powerball tickets worth $10,000 each; 122 Lotto tickets averaging $1,999 each; three Cash Quest jackpot tickets worth $50,000 each and two Cash Quest tickets worth $3,000 each.  Pick 3 winners won a total of $1,615,480 and Pick 4 winners won a total of $1,785,500.
 
"Last month over 20,000 Power Play purchasers won a bonus total of $333,110 in addition to their regular Powerball prize total of $114,749," Hudson said.  "The Power Play option offers Powerball ticket purchasers the chance to multiply their winnings up to five times on all non jackpot-related prizes for an additional $1 per play."
