Jonathan Mims claimed his $2,000 Mega Millions prize from the August 13 drawing on August 14 at the Lottery's Monroe Regional Office. The next day he found what he thought was the same Mega Millions ticket in his wallet. Jonathan called the Monroe Office and asked if they had given him his winning ticket back after he claimed his prize on it the day before and was informed that the Lottery keeps winning tickets.
He then realized that he accidentally played the same numbers twice, making him a $2,000 winner once again! He travelled back to the Monroe office on August 15 to claim yet another prize.
He plans to use his winnings to take his daughter on a mission trip to El Salvador. Congratulations again!
