"It just doesn't seem real," Winner Vince Dorsey said during his visit to Lottery headquarters. The Loreauville resident learned, only two days prior, that he won $1,000,000 during the Dec. 4 Mega Millions drawing! "Once I see the check, I'll be alright," he said, anxiously awaited his real check to be printed. 

Though he plays Lottery games on occasion, Vince didn't set out to buy a ticket for this particular drawing. "I had stopped (at Corner Grocery) to put diesel in my truck," the winner explained. When the receipt for the fuel mistakenly didn't print, he went into the store. "I just told them to give me two quick picks," he said. What a lucky accident! 

Vince received $710,000 after state and federal taxes were withheld. He plans to put his new cash towards savings and his daughter's college tuition.
