Paul and Theresa Brignac

Paul's wife Theresa asked him to pick up a scratch-off ticket so she could get change for a $20 bill on Saturday, June 23. Theresa wasn't concerned with the 7 ticket at the moment, so she put it away until Paul scratching some tickets on June 27 reminded her of the ticket tucked away in her wallet. "I asked my little granddaughter to give it a good luck kiss, and that lucky kiss went through like magic!" Theresa recalled. Paul purchased the winning ticket at Smokers Express off of Highway 14 in Lake Charles. The couple plans to make repairs to their house with their winnings.
