Tallulah resident LaThelma Jordan asked a Smoke Shop clerk to pick out a scratch-off ticket for her, as it was her first time ever playing the game. The clerk chose a $10 Hit 5,000 game on LaThelma's behalf. Upon playing, LaThelma was shocked to see that she had won the $5,000 top prize!

"My heart was racing, I could not believe it!" she exclaimed.

LaThelma is so happy and grateful for such a big win on her first ever scratch-off game. She plans to use her winnings to pay bills and put a little aside in the bank. Congratulations!
