Candis Hemphill

Hammond resident Candis Hemphill discovered her $30,000 Diamond Bingo win in the early hours of March 1. "I was putting my baby back to sleep around 2 a.m. and was scratching off tickets…there was no going back to sleep after that!" she recalled. The winning ticket was purchased at Rende's Quick Stop #3 on University Avenue and Candis plans to use her new cash to purchase land where she can build a home for her family. Congratulations!
