The New Orleans Saints aren't the only ones on a lucky streak this fall.  Saints fan Marie Dinger of Morgan City shared in some of the team's luck when she won a $100,000 top prize playing a New Orleans Saints scratch-off from the Lottery.

Dinger said she picked the New Orleans Saints scratch-off because she is a long-time fan of the football team.  She purchased her winning ticket at Mel-Star, Inc. on MLK Boulevard in Morgan City.

New Orleans Saints is a $5 scratch-off game that offers players the chance to win up to $100,000. With 15 chances to win on each ticket, the game has two remaining top prizes as of Oct. 28.

Players who do not win a cash prize on the New Orleans Saints scratch-off can enter their nonwinning tickets in second-chance drawings for autographed Saints merchandise and once-in-a-lifetime fan experiences to see the Saints in action. The entry deadline for the next drawing is Nov. 19, 2009.

According to Louisiana Lottery policy, a scratch-off game is closed and removed from sale when all top prizes for the game have been claimed. Winners have 90 days from the game closure date in which to claim their winnings.

Players must be at least 21 years old to purchase a Lottery ticket.  The Lottery encourages anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867 for help. For security purposes, the Lottery also encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
