Major Davis of Monroe received an early holiday gift when his $10 Louisiana Lottery Money, Money, Money scratch-off revealed he had won a $200,000 top prize, the last one left in the game. Davis said he plans to buy a new home and vehicle and save the rest of his winnings for his six children.

“I want to take care of them,” Davis said. “A big portion of the rest of the money is going to go to them.”

He purchased his winning ticket at Richwood Mart in Richwood and received $140,000 after federal and state tax withholdings.

“I play every week and I never thought I would win this big,” Davis added.
