Contest Description
Louisiana residents who are at least 21 years of age are invited to enter the Louisiana Lottery’s Great King Cake Debate Giveaway for a chance to win a Mardi Gras Prize Package.
How to Enter
Beginning Monday, February 2, 2026, eligible participants are invited to comment on the Louisiana Lottery’s designated Facebook post by:
Entries must be submitted electronically via the designated Facebook post.
No entries will be accepted in person, by mail, or through any other method. Only one entry per person is allowed. No purchase is necessary to submit an entry for the promotion.
Inappropriate or offensive comments will be deleted and not considered as entries.
Prizes
Ten (10) winners will each receive a Mardi Gras Prize Pack, which includes:

Winner Selection & Notification
Ten (10) winners will be randomly selected from the field of entries on February 6, 2026.
Winners will be notified via Facebook DM (Messenger) from the account the winner used to comment on the post.
The winners have three (3) business days after any form of attempted communication by the Lottery to verify their eligibility status or their prize will be forfeited. The Lottery may, at its discretion, assign an alternate winner in those cases.
Winners must provide a valid shipping address to receive the prize package. The king cake and merchandise items will be shipped separately.
Any winner names and photos may be posted and used for advertising the Louisiana Lottery’s Mardi Gras promotions on the Lottery’s social media accounts.
Publicity
Entrants grant permission to the Lottery to have their name and social media handle included in the Lottery’s publicity efforts. Entrants also agree to be recognized publicly on the Lottery’s Facebook page.

This promotion is open to Louisiana residents at least 21 years of age. Residency and age will be verified. The following individuals are excluded from participating in Louisiana Lottery promotions:
