Lottery Brings Excitement of the World Poker Tour® to a Scratch-Off With Launch of $100,000 Hold ‘Em Poker®

The Louisiana Lottery will bring the excitement of poker to a scratch-off on July 31 with the launch of World Poker Tour® $100,000 Hold 'Em Poker®, offering players a chance to win up to $100,000 instantly and to experience the ultimate poker enthusiast's dream – a seat at an actual World Poker Tour® tournament through four second-chance drawings.

"Its popularity is one reason we think our players are going to enjoy this game and its unique, patented Hold 'Em Poker® play action."

The $5 scratch-off game $100,000 Hold 'Em Poker® features six top prizes of $100,000; 27,000 prizes from $21 to $2,100; and 1:3.79 overall odds of winning a prize. 

Players who do not win an instant prize can enter a second-chance drawing by mailing in one nonwinning ticket per envelope, no larger than 4.5" x 9.5", to the address on the back of the ticket. The entry makes them eligible to win a World Poker Tour® Merchandise Package or a Grand Prize World Poker Tour® Experience.

The Grand Prize World Poker Tour® Experience includes round-trip airfare for two to an actual WPT^TM tournament in the U.S., six nights' double occupancy accommodations, $1,000 spending cash and up to a maximum $10,000 buy-in to participate in the tournament. The package also includes a WPT^TM Merchandise Package and two tickets to the taping of the World Poker Tour® finals of that tournament attended, unless the winner is already at the table!

One Grand Prize World Poker Tour® Experience will be given away during each second-chance drawing for a total of four. The experience is valued at $15,515 plus applicable federal and state withholdings paid on the winner's behalf. Winners can opt to receive the cash value of the prize in lieu of the experience.
 
The World Poker Tour® Merchandise Package includes a quad-folding poker game table top that seats eight, a WPT^TM 300 Poker Chip Set, as well as a WPT^TM clock, drink tumblers and a ball cap.  Exactly 191 World Poker Tour® Merchandise Packages, valued at $460 each, will be given away per second-chance drawing for a total of 764.
 
Entries must be received by Sep. 15, Oct. 27 and Dec. 8, 2006, in order to qualify for the drawing, which will occur within seven days of the deadline. The deadline for the final drawing will be posted at Lottery retail locations and on its Web site.  Entries received after the deadline for the first three drawings will be included in the next scheduled drawing. Entries received after the deadline for the fourth and final drawing are not eligible. All nonwinning entries are destroyed after each drawing. Players may enter as many times as they wish, but may win only one prize per drawing.
