Lake Charles Resident Claims $10,000 Powerball Prize
Jerry Taylor of Lake Charles claimed $10,000 at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's Lafayette office from the Aug. 8 Powerball drawing.
"This is great!" said Taylor, age 52. His ticket matched four of five white ball numbers plus the red Powerball number to win his prize.
He purchased his ticket at EZ Mart #693 on Nelson Road in Lake Charles. The winning numbers for the Aug. 8 drawing were 9-16-21-30-52 and the Powerball number was 9.
