Bogalusa Man Claims $100,000 Scratch-Off Prize
Anthony Hand held the "golden ticket" when he claimed a $100,000 top prize from a Louisiana Gold scratch-off at Louisiana Lottery headquarters in Baton Rouge last week.
The 33-year-old Bogalusa resident purchased his winning ticket from Tobacco Shak Plus II on Memphis Street in Bogalusa.
Louisiana Gold is a $5 game that features the chance to win up to 15 times on each ticket. The game has three $100,000 top prizes remaining as of today.
For security purposes, the Lottery strongly encourages players to sign the back of their tickets immediately after purchasing.
Persons must be at least 21 years of age to purchase a Lottery ticket. Anyone who has a gambling problem or friends and family of anyone with a gambling problem are encouraged to call toll-free 1-877-770-7867.
