BATON ROUGE - Janice Johnson of Baton Rouge claimed a $100,000 top prize at the Louisiana Lottery Corporation's headquarters from a Stacks of Cash scratch-off ticket.

"I always let my mom scratch my tickets because she's good luck," explained Johnson.

"Oh yeah, I was mad when I scratched her ticket and saw it was a winner because it wasn't mine!" teased Marilyn Johnson, her mother.

Johnson purchased her winning ticket at Racetrac #117 on Harding Boulevard in Baton Rouge.

"It's a dream come true to spend $5 and win $100,000!" she said.  "I was so excited I called my brother crying!"

Her brother, Emmanuel Johnson, said he was happy for his sister and could understand her excitement because he won $10,000 on a Fire and Ice scratch-off ticket last year.

Johnson also said she plans to buy her parents a vehicle with her winnings.
