Players Win Over $14.1 Million in April

Louisiana Lottery players won over $14.1 million in prizes in April, highlighted by two Lotto jackpots of $400,000 and $275,000.

There were nearly $7.3 million in Louisiana Powerball, Lotto, Cash Quest, Pick 4 and Pick 3 winnings and over $6.8 million in scratch-off game winnings last month. 

April winners also included two Powerball tickets for $200,000 each; 12 Powerball tickets for $10,000 each; 123 Lotto tickets averaging $2,288 each; two Cash Quest jackpot tickets for $50,000 and four Cash Quest tickets for $3,000 each.  Pick 3 winners won a total of $1,998,230 and Pick 4 winners won a total of $1,006,500.

Last month over 29,000 Power Play purchasers won a bonus total of $420,532 in addition to their regular Powerball prize total of $164,535.

The Power Play option offers Powerball ticket purchasers the chance to multiply their winnings up to five times on all nonjackpot related prizes for an additional $1.
