When Martha Rabb of Ferriday received the call informing her that she was the winner of the second 2009 Ultimate Saints Fan Experiencefrom the Louisiana Lottery, she was in a state of disbelief.

"At first I thought it was a mail scam. You know -- the kind where they want you to send them personal information," admitted the 77-year-old retired school teacher. "But I knew it was real when I saw the copy of the Saints scratch-off ticket with my handwriting on the back!"

Rabb entered her nonwinning $5 New Orleans Saints scratch-off ticket in the second of four second-chance drawings being conducted by the Lottery for a chance to win Saints game tickets, autographed merchandise and more.

As the Ultimate Saints Fan Experience winner, Rabb decided to transfer the prize to her son and daughter-in-law who will be attending the Nov. 8 game at the Superdome to watch the undefeated New Orleans Saints take on Carolina from Club Sideline seats.

Two finalists were also selected during the second second-chance drawing. Margaret Herring of Hammond won an autographed helmet and jersey, and Davette Forbes of Baton Rouge won an autographed football and jersey.

The deadline for the Lottery's third New Orleans Saints second-chance drawing is Thursday, Nov. 19. During that drawing, two finalists will each win official Saints merchandise, including an autographed jersey and a football or helmet. One winner will be selected to win a 2009 Ultimate Saints Fan Experience that includes four Club Sideline tickets to the Saints vs. Dallas game on Dec. 19 in the Superdome, access to a Saints VIP Clubroom at that game, a parking pass, four pre-game field passes, one-night accommodations at a downtown New Orleans hotel (two rooms), a $200 dinner allotment at a designated downtown New Orleans restaurant for four people and $500 spending cash.

To enter the second-chance drawings, players should complete the information on the back of nonwinning $5 New Orleans Saints scratch-off tickets and mail each ticket in an envelope no larger than 4.5" by 9.5" to the address printed on the back of the ticket. The entry must arrive at the second-chance drawing address by the Nov. 19 deadline to be entered into the drawing; otherwise, it will be entered into the fourth and final drawing. Players can enter as many times as they wish, but each entry should be mailed in a separate envelope.

The Louisiana Lottery is solely responsible for administering the game and second-chance drawings.

Lottery ticket purchasers and second-chance drawing entrants must be at least 21 years of age. If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, help is available by calling 1-877-770-7867.
